Training Starts Now

As part of my half-marathon (as well as marathon) training, I would sign up for at least one race a month before the bigger race. For February, I signed up for the Four Mile Beach Run in Long Branch, NJ and the Sneaker Factory “Hot Chocolate” Series.

This Picstitch photo took place at the first run of the hot chocolate series today. The series is every Saturday morning for three weeks and each each run is three miles. The bonus — drink hot chocolate at the end of the race (it is February after all!). My time for this first run is 28:13 min, which is a personal best for me!

My overall goal is to increase my speed and beat my time every race during the series.
